Effective January 1, 2014, the City of La Junta will operate the La Junta Municipal Golf Course. In the past, the golf course has been operated by the La Junta Golf Association, made up of golf course members.

According to Rick Klein, City of La Junta City Manager, “We look forward to running this important facility for the citizens of La Junta.” He adds, “There are numerous benefits to the City operating the golf course, most importantly the resources the City can provide to maintain operations.”

“It is our goal to make this among the best municipal golf courses in Colorado,” Klein says.

There are no dining facilites at the La Junta Golf Course.

Member rates for the Golf Course vary from $400 per year for a regular member to $100 per year for students under 18 and $350 per year for a Senior (65+) membership. Contact Bill Jackson at 719-384-5991 for additional membership information on the La Junta Municipal Golf Course.
